C.J. van Houtenlaan 36A is at present an empty office building of ca 7.500 m² which is located within the zone Gemeente Weesp is currently establishing a new ”visie” for. The time schedule to implement the new visie, the master plan, is estimated to twelve months.
The idea for C.J. van Houtenlaan 36A is to create a concept where a commercial (supermarket) plint will be mixed with a modern concept of office centre and/or short term student housing.
A 30 years lease contract has been signed with a supermarket chain, subject to approval of the “bestemmingsplan”. Regarding the student housing, UVA and Camelot have signed LOI whereby they commit themselves to supply students/tenants (UVA) and operate the campus (Camelot). The estimated number of units amounts to approximately 200 apartment.
Weesp student campus will follow approximately the same parameters as Wasa Student Village in Amsterdam Sloterdijk.
Regarding the modern concept of office centre, there is firm interests from the market to establish an multi use office centre.

C.J. van Houtenlaan 36B is an office building of ca 2.200 m² which is fully let to Abbot Healthcare Products B.V. until 2025.
